Varieties

The mangoes of Bangladesh belong mainly to two groups, viz: 1. the elite mango varieties propagated through grafting and other vegetative means, locally known as ‘Kalamer Aam’ and 2. Fruits are born by seedling trees locally known as ‘Guti Aam’. Some of the common varieties grown in Bangladesh are listed below:
